Privacy Notice
How we handle website enquiries and the information you share with us.

Who is responsible
Laxmi ehf., Reynimel 72, 107 Reykjavík, Iceland, is the controller of personal data processed through the CryptoBoost website and its contact enquiries. Company ID (kennitala): 450722-1700.
For privacy questions or requests, contact legal@cryptoboost.eu.
Information we process
When you contact us, we process your email address, message, enquiry type and any name or organisation details you provide, together with subsequent correspondence.
Email and Message are required to submit the contact form. The other fields are optional. Without a contact address and message, we cannot receive and respond to an enquiry through the form.
Hosting, email and submission providers also process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services. This can include IP addresses, request timestamps and browser information.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry information to respond to your message, understand your interest in the technology and discuss potential collaborations.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in managing business communications and assessing potential partnerships, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We also rely on legitimate interests for necessary website operation, security and abuse prevention, balanced against your rights and interests.
Where you personally request steps towards entering into a contract with us, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to processing necessary for those steps. Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, we rely on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing mailing list.
Who receives your information
Information is accessible to authorised people handling enquiries and service providers supporting website hosting, form delivery, business email and security.
- Infomaniak hosts the website. See its privacy information.
- FormSubmit processes contact form submissions and forwards them to our business email inbox. See its Privacy Policy.
- Zoho Mail is used to receive and manage business correspondence. See Zoho’s Privacy Policy.
- Google reCAPTCHA is used by FormSubmit for anti-spam verification during submission. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell enquiry information.
How long we keep information
We normally delete or anonymise ordinary enquiry correspondence within 12 months of the last substantive contact. This includes copies in our business email inbox.
If an enquiry develops into an ongoing collaboration, relevant correspondence is retained for managing that relationship and any applicable legal obligations or legal claims.
FormSubmit states that it retains submissions in its own archive for 30 days. This is separate from copies delivered to our inbox.
Technical service logs and provider backups follow the relevant provider’s retention and deletion schedules for service delivery, troubleshooting, security and legal requirements. These periods are separate from our ordinary enquiry retention period. Contact us for information about the applicable provider schedules.
International processing
Laxmi ehf. is established in Iceland, within the European Economic Area. Infomaniak provides website hosting in Switzerland, which benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision.
Zoho’s Privacy Policy describes processing within its group and by service providers in the EEA, the United States and other countries where it operates. It describes contractual safeguards for transfers to which GDPR applies and how to obtain a copy of the relevant agreements.
FormSubmit’s published Privacy Policy does not specify its processing countries or international-transfer safeguards. If you have questions about this processing, contact legal@cryptoboost.eu. You can also email us directly instead of using the form; direct email does not pass through FormSubmit.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Send requests to legal@cryptoboost.eu. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity before responding.
You may complain to a competent data protection authority, including the authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. The Icelandic authority is Persónuvernd.
Automated decisions
We do not use website enquiries to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
